Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain applications that automate and power Adyen’s self-service infrastructure platform.
- Optimize load balancing infrastructure as a service for high availability, reliability, responsiveness, and traffic-spike resilience.
- Automate manual operational tasks into efficient self-service workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into secure and scalable solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with SRE and infrastructure teams within Platform Engineering.
- Participate in architectural discussions and drive improvements to the Adyen Platform.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Fluency in Go and some knowledge of Python.
- Experience working within platform or infrastructure teams.
- Proficiency with Linux and a good understanding of distributed systems.
- Demonstrated experience driving and delivering complex projects.
- Understanding of software engineering practices, infrastructure, observability, networking concepts, TCP/IP, and TLS.
- Experience with system design and building and maintaining large distributed systems.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong communication skills and a future-oriented mindset.
