Responsibilities
- Build performant, testable, scalable, secure, and maintainable client code.
- Implement security remediation through Software Composition Analysis triaging, prioritization, remediation, and verification.
- Design and implement scalable AI and agentic workflows using LLMs with a focus on reliability and observability.
- Build and maintain responsive, well-tested React frontend features alongside backend services.
- Own technical projects from design through successful production launch.
- Identify and remediate technical debt to improve system stability, performance, and developer velocity.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Gather requirements, maintain documentation, provide project status and estimation, and participate in code reviews.
- Use GitHub Copilot and spec-driven development practices within an AI-assisted engineering workflow.
Requirements
- Extensive senior-level professional software engineering experience with strong Python and distributed-systems expertise.
- Ability to own technical features from design through production deployment with minimal supervision.
- Deep understanding of system design, architecture, and ambiguous technical problem solving.
- Expertise with Git source control tools and Python package management tools such as UV or Conda.
- Experience with unit testing using Pytest.
- Hands-on experience building production React applications alongside backend services at scale.
- Experience managing Docker containers and orchestrating them with Kubernetes and AKS.
- Intermediate design proficiency with UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
- Experience engineering medium-to-large-scale software systems.
- Proficiency with relational databases and experience deploying and operating systems on AWS.
- Working knowledge of GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants and spec-driven development practices.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and proficiency in English.
- Preferred experience includes Flask, Snowflake, agentic frameworks such as MCP and A2A, Apache Airflow, Automic Automation, HTTP, JSON, XML, GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, Checkmarx, Claude Code, and Cursor.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts including inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, and properties.
