Senior, Software Engineer
Teladoc HealthResponsibilities
- Design and develop scalable APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems.
- Develop integrations that improve user experience and platform capabilities.
- Design and optimize MySQL or other relational database schemas.
- Implement object-oriented models and applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Develop and manage cloud-native applications on Azure using Azure services.
- Collaborate with QA teams to improve automation and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and software bugs.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and product iterations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience with strong Ruby on Rails expertise.
- At least 2 years of experience with React.js for frontend development.
- Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC services.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud and Azure services.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and object-oriented programming and design principles.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including schema design and optimization.
- A record of delivering multiple product releases and iterations.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes MySQL performance optimization, Azure Cloud, React.js, and HL7 FHIR R4 standards with RESTful health data exchange.
