Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Establish technical direction, foster team culture, grow junior engineers, and deliver features to internal and external customers.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Lead architecture decisions and participate in system design, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation.
- Champion operational, technical, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with managers, engineers, product and program managers, principal engineers, and AWS teams to deliver the roadmap.
- Interact with customers to respond to queries, issues, and complaints.
- Build systems and tooling that automate network planning, scaling, deployment, and operation activities.
Requirements
- Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Knowledge of system design and network fundamentals.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
