Senior Software Engineer, Pipeline Engineering

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD, build, and test pipeline capabilities.
- Develop production-quality services, APIs, workflows, and developer tools for pipeline configuration, execution, debugging, and reporting.
- Evolve pipeline architecture toward modular, fault-tolerant, durable components with clear interfaces and manageable blast radius.
- Improve pipeline performance, capacity, and resource utilization across FlashArray, FlashBlade, and other engineering environments.
- Build observability, metrics, and diagnostics to improve pipeline health, failure analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with product engineering, release engineering, and platform services teams to solve workflow problems and support critical releases.
- Own testing, documentation, operational readiness, incident follow-through, and long-term system improvements.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining production-quality software, services, or developer platforms.
- Hands-on understanding of CI/CD, build systems, test orchestration, release workflows, or related engineering infrastructure.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or C++, plus strong scripting and automation skills.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in API design, distributed systems, concurrency, testing, debugging, and performance analysis.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix systems and diagnosing issues across application, operating-system, network, storage, or infrastructure layers.
- Experience using logs, metrics, dashboards, queries, or tracing to improve reliability and developer experience.
- Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and cross-team influence skills.
