Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain, and operate scalable Kotlin backend services for the Customer & Marketing environment.
Build and manage scalable infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Flux, and Docker.
Develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Use Google Cloud products including BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub, and MongoDB Atlas.
Apply Kotest and Testcontainers to support reliable, high-quality code.
Contribute to codebase, architecture, and development-process improvements through collaboration, pair programming, and code reviews.
Participate in the team’s regular on-call rotation to support high availability.

At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
Experience developing backend services with Kotlin on the JVM.
Extensive server-side backend development experience.
Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
Solid knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Terraform is a plus.
Experience with Ktor is a plus.
Familiarity with Arrow and Kotlin coroutines is a plus.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, analytical, and continuous-learning skills.
