Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated tests for platform services and shared components.
- Improve test automation approaches, frameworks, and standards.
- Create and run API, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Integrate automated test suites into delivery pipelines for timely feedback.
- Ensure test coverage supports platform scalability, reliability, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders throughout design, development, and delivery.
- Identify quality risks early and help prevent defects.
- Share testing knowledge and promote effective automation practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with test automation using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright as a primary testing framework.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for RESTful services.
- Practical knowledge of tools and libraries used for API validation.
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, including test design, coverage, and early defect prevention.
- Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work closely with backend engineers to ensure services are testable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to quality improvement.
- Experience working in Agile environments and improving testing practices and tooling.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
