Responsibilities

Lead modernization initiatives that transform legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native architectures.
Design API-first ecosystems, including RESTful and event-driven APIs, API gateways, routing, security, throttling, and monitoring.
Build high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems using messaging and streaming platforms.
Design end-to-end full-stack solutions across frontend, backend services, APIs, and data layers.
Establish security architecture covering authentication, authorization, encryption, compliance, and zero-trust principles.
Drive deployments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises or hybrid environments.
Establish architecture standards, scalability patterns, and performance benchmarks.
Ensure responsive and intuitive user experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.

12+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture and modernization.
Strong hands-on full-stack experience across modern frontend frameworks, backend services, APIs, and databases.
Proven experience building high-volume, transaction-heavy systems with strict latency requirements.
Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, API management, and gateway design.
Experience with React or Angular, Spring Boot or Node.js or FastAPI, NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, Okta, Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Prometheus or similar technologies.
Experience with SRE techniques including chaos engineering, performance engineering, toil reduction, and reliability engineering.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, caching strategies, resiliency patterns, security architecture, and compliance.
Familiarity with real-time streaming technologies.
Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
