$221k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive customer, business, and technology outcomes by accelerating engineering velocity.
- Solve cross-cutting technical problems involving complex dependencies and unclear definitions.
- Lead architectural design for major product or system changes.
- Build production solutions using commoditized AI and AI-Native Principles.
- Use evaluation tools to validate and measure AI solution accuracy.
- Evaluate and integrate transformative technologies.
- Define coding principles, engineering standards, and testing strategies.
- Drive adoption of best practices and tooling across multiple teams.
- Provide feedback and architectural guidance to engineers beyond the immediate team.
- Partner with Architecture, Product, Operations, and other groups on cross-functional design.
Requirements
- 8+ years developing systems and software for large business environments.
- 5+ years designing complex distributed systems, platforms, or business applications.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI into production software, ideally leading standalone AI projects with commoditized AI tools and agentic workflows.
- Experience using AI evaluation tools and shipping AI features to production.
- Full-stack experience with modern AI/ML platforms, LLM APIs, agent orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and Python, plus depth in front-end or back-end technologies.
- Front-end experience may include React, Angular, SwiftUI for iOS, or Kotlin for Android.
- Back-end experience may include Java, TypeScript, Spring, or Node.js.
- Production experience with AWS or GCP.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to drive results in matrixed, globally distributed environments with numerous stakeholders.
- Strong mentoring, communication, independent decision-making, and collaboration skills.
