Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and review architectures for scalable vulnerability management reporting systems.
- Develop software features in Java and Python using AWS services.
- Build interactive visualizations, analytics pipelines, AI-powered agents, MCP services, and team-level operational integrations.
- Merge vulnerability metrics from upstream systems and provide drill-down reporting for senior leaders.
- Set and maintain a high bar for operational excellence, resilience testing, and system preparation.
- Partner with security engineers, data engineers, program managers, and internal Amazon stakeholders worldwide.
- Plan software projects using Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience programming in a modern language such as Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design.
