Responsibilities
- Define architecture direction, solution roadmaps, standards, and design guardrails for SAP serialization and traceability solutions.
- Lead fit-gap assessments across SAP ATTP, SAP S/4HANA, supply chain systems, serialization repositories, and partner integrations.
- Design end-to-end serialization, aggregation, commissioning, decommissioning, and EPCIS data exchange workflows.
- Support DSCSA, FDA serialization mandates, and GS1 standards involving GTIN, EPCIS, product identifiers, and traceability requirements.
- Partner with engineering and business teams to evaluate options, document architecture decisions, and guide implementation.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, security, compliance, reliability, and operational support expectations.
- Identify architecture risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across enterprise and external trading partner ecosystems.
- Communicate technical trade-offs and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, SAP architecture, enterprise application design, or related technology delivery roles.
- Experience with SAP ATTP, pharmaceutical serialization, DSCSA compliance, or regulated supply chain technology.
- Experience with SAP ATTP implementations, upgrades, migrations, or global serialization programs.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, FDA guidance, DSCSA interoperability, and serialization mandates.
- Hands-on knowledge of serialization and aggregation workflows across pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution, or logistics.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC with supply chain, warehouse, order management, or compliance platforms.
- Understanding of GS1 standards, including GTIN, EPCIS, product identifiers, and traceability data exchange.
- Experience leading architecture assessments, solution design, roadmaps, or fit-gap analysis for enterprise-scale initiatives.
- Ability to document architecture decisions and explain complex technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with APIs, event-driven integration, middleware, B2B/EDI, EPCIS messaging, or cloud integration platforms.
- Preferred familiarity with architecture frameworks, governance, reference architecture, security-by-design, or well-architected practices.
- Preferred experience collaborating with product, compliance, quality, operations, security, and external trading partner teams.
- Ability to influence architecture standards and coach engineers or solution teams through complex design decisions.
