Responsibilities
- Apply data science methods and advanced analytics to real-world business challenges across industries.
- Design, build, and deploy innovative and scalable AI solutions for clients.
- Translate complex data science concepts and results into clear visualizations and business implications.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues across BCG regions and industries.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership, scientific papers, and conference presentations on behalf of BCG X.
- Use modern development tools and write code collaboratively.
- Lead teams and manage projects as appropriate.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university master’s or PhD program in computer research science, data science, statistics, operations research, or a related field.
- Significant experience applying advanced analytics to varied business situations and synthesizing complex data.
- Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical foundations.
- Comfort working in client-facing roles with ambition to lead teams.
- Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts clearly and create simple, effective visualizations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Passion for data science, statistics, operations research, and organizational AI transformation.
- Experience with software development or DevOps is a bonus.
