Base Salary
$80k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and server-side application logic.
- Develop backend services using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js, with tools including LangChain, LangGraph, and FastAPI.
- Design schemas, optimize queries, and model data for reliable and efficient storage and retrieval.
- Build systems that scale to millions of users while optimizing throughput, latency, and cost.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, security best practices, and applicable data-protection compliance.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting, and troubleshoot production issues to maintain high availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages, such as Java, Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or Express.js.
- Expertise with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
