Base Salary
$275k - $377k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and develop the platform infrastructure strategy.
- Make decisions on what to work on and how to approach it.
- Conduct build vs. buy assessments for tools and technologies.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and decision records.
- Participate in architectural forums and make open decisions.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and their failure modes.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and experience operating clusters under load.
- Strong Go programming skills with experience in building production systems.
- Multi-cloud architectural decision-making experience across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Ability to define requirements and drive technology choices within an engineering organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
