Base Salary
$110k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve monitoring, observability, and performance of deployed systems.
- Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack-based cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain Python, Ansible, and GitHub Workflows automation scripts and playbooks.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
- Support Docker and Kubernetes containerization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot cloud and automation workflow issues.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
- Share best practices and improve processes across teams.
- Participate in on-call and operational support as needed.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, platform administration, or infrastructure automation.
- 8+ years of experience with OpenStack or similar cloud platforms.
- 8+ years of experience with Python and Ansible.
- 8+ years of experience with CI/CD systems and containerization technologies.
- Strong experience with cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Deep familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus.
- Experience with performance tuning, infrastructure as code, and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
- Good understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud deployments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or on-premises is preferred.
- Experience with QEMU/libvirt is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
