Base Salary
$128k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product and technical initiatives from design and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration.
- Build reliable, maintainable systems for real-time scheduling, client booking, marketing automation, and business operations.
- Partner with Product and Design to understand customer problems and develop thoughtful technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture while balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and delivery speed.
- Build frontend, backend, or end-to-end product experiences based on area of expertise.
- Own software quality through testing, code review, observability, and ongoing production support.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Improve software development and delivery practices, including the use of AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production applications.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to design clean, maintainable solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated ownership of meaningful features or technical initiatives from definition through production.
- Experience partnering with Product and Design to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
- Ability to recognize reusable patterns and solve broader systems problems rather than one-off instances.
- Sound technical judgment, including the ability to evaluate tradeoffs and communicate decisions.
- Effective collaboration with engineers and cross-functional partners, including contributing to the growth of other engineers.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies; prior Elixir experience is not required.

- Base salary ranges from $144,000-$180,000 for candidates in NYC, the SF Bay Area, and Seattle, and $128,000-$176,000 for other U.S. locations.
- Final compensation varies based on experience, location, and leveling, and the role may be eligible for variable compensation.
