Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous client business problems into scoped AI use cases, MVPs, data requirements, and evaluation criteria.
- Build and deploy AI solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, agents, traditional ML models, embeddings, vector stores, and evaluation frameworks.
- Design AI architectures and integrate AI components with client APIs, data warehouses, SaaS platforms, and existing infrastructure.
- Optimize solutions for latency, cost, reliability, and scalability across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Implement monitoring for model performance and drift, prompt failures, hallucinations, regressions, safety, telemetry, lineage, and governance.
- Provide technical training and knowledge transfer, document reusable patterns and accelerators, and contribute to internal playbooks and reference implementations.
- Support pre-sales through technical credibility and demonstrations, stay current with AI tooling, and lead multidisciplinary teams through complex delivery cycles.
Requirements
- 7+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with strong data structures, algorithms, system design, and production Python skills.
- 7+ years of experience with cloud platforms and modern data infrastructure, with Azure preferred and experience with GCP or AWS accepted.
- Advanced applied AI/ML knowledge spanning NLP, transformers, generative models, reinforcement learning, classical ML, and statistical modeling.
- Advanced LLM/RAG engineering experience with prompt pipelines, embeddings, vector stores, hybrid retrieval, grounding, hallucination mitigation, and evaluation.
- Experience with LLMOps/MLOps, automated testing, drift monitoring, safety and guardrails, ML CI/CD, telemetry, lineage, and governance.
- Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines, training or fine-tuning models, and enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Experience working with clients in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or product engineering, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Significant management experience and demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering, data science, architecture, product, and design teams.
- Preferred experience building and deploying AI agents or autonomous systems, using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or FastAPI, and working in forward deployed or field engineering roles.
