Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to identify strategic opportunities for AI-driven transformation and support successful adoption.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions using modern AI frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
- Build and deploy GenAI, agentic AI, LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, and multi-agent workflows.
- Carry AI solutions from concept through production across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises client infrastructures.
- Define MVP scope, data requirements, evaluation criteria, technical standards, and safe delivery practices.
- Design AI evaluation, scoring, release-gate, governance, versioning, audit, risk-management, and monitoring frameworks.
- Evaluate and standardize LLM providers, vector platforms, and portfolio strategies.
- Collaborate with product, data science, infrastructure, and client stakeholders on architecture and delivery.
- Coach and counsel junior team members while fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering ML and AI systems at enterprise scale.
- Hands-on team lead or architect experience, including defining technical standards, coding daily, and ensuring compliant MVP delivery.
- Experience building prototypes and production solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, agents, and traditional ML models where appropriate.
- Experience deploying AI solutions into cloud, hybrid, and on-premises client environments while addressing security, compliance, data residency, and legacy-system constraints.
- Strong Python, Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, and event-driven technology experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of NLP, computer vision, document intelligence, time series, multimodal GenAI, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
- Experience designing AI evaluation frameworks and release gates, including text, vision, and multimodal scoring.
- Knowledge of EU AI Act alignment, model/prompt/data versioning, audit logs, risk management, safety guardrails, telemetry, lineage, and LLMOps/MLOps.
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including reliability, SLOs, and cost or token governance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to coach junior colleagues.
- Financial-services experience is preferred.
- An MSc or PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent senior industry experience, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Pinecone, Weaviate, and Milvus is preferred.
