Responsibilities
- Partner with Financial Services clients to identify strategic opportunities for AI-driven transformation and support successful adoption.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions using modern AI frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
- Build and deploy GenAI, agentic AI, LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, and multi-agent workflows from concept through production.
- Define MVP scope, data requirements, evaluation criteria, technical standards, and safe delivery practices with stakeholders.
- Design enterprise evaluation and scoring frameworks with release gates for text, vision, and multimodal AI models.
- Deploy solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises client infrastructure while addressing security, compliance, data residency, and legacy-system constraints.
- Develop AI governance practices covering EU AI Act alignment, model and prompt versioning, audit logs, risk management, safety, guardrails, telemetry, lineage, and cost governance.
- Evaluate and standardize LLM providers, vector platforms, and AI portfolios.
- Collaborate with product, data science, infrastructure, and client stakeholders on architecture and delivery decisions.
- Coach and counsel junior team members and foster a learning culture around AI engineering practices and industry trends.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing and delivering ML and AI systems at enterprise scale.
- Hands-on Team Lead/Architect experience, including daily coding, technical standards, compliance, and safe MVP delivery.
- Strong Python skills and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS at scale.
- Experience building prototypes and production systems using LLMs, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, agents, and traditional ML models where appropriate.
- Experience deploying AI solutions into cloud, hybrid, and on-premises client environments.
- Knowledge of NLP, computer vision, document intelligence, time series, and multimodal GenAI.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, Hugging Face, enterprise ML pipelines, LLMOps/MLOps, automated testing, drift monitoring, CI/CD for ML, and governance.
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ and with vector platforms such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including reliability, SLOs, and cost/token governance.
- Awareness of Tree-of-Thought, multi-agent orchestration, debate/deliberation agents, RLHF, and RLAIF strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Financial Services experience is preferred.
- MSc or PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent senior industry experience, is preferred.
- Experience designing AI evaluation frameworks and release gates is preferred.
