Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to convert ambiguous business problems into scoped AI use cases, MVPs, data requirements, success metrics, and evaluation criteria.
- Build prototypes and production solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, agents, and traditional machine learning.
- Design and implement AI architectures covering data ingestion, feature pipelines, embeddings, vector stores, model selection, tuning, and evaluation.
- Develop prompts, system instructions, guardrails, monitoring, and mitigations for hallucinations, drift, failures, and regressions.
- Integrate AI components with client APIs, data warehouses, SaaS platforms, and existing infrastructure.
- Deploy and optimize solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments for latency, cost, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to client teams and create reusable patterns, architectures, accelerators, playbooks, and reference implementations.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through complex delivery cycles and support pre-sales through technical credibility and demonstrations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of AI/ML engineering experience, including production Python and strong data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals.
- At least 5 years of experience with cloud platforms and modern data infrastructure, with Azure preferred and GCP or AWS accepted.
- Deep applied AI/ML experience spanning NLP, transformers, generative models, reinforcement learning, classical machine learning, and statistical modeling.
- Advanced LLM and RAG engineering experience with prompt pipelines, embeddings, vector stores, hybrid retrieval, grounding, hallucination mitigation, and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience with LLMOps/MLOps, automated testing, drift monitoring, safety and guardrails, ML CI/CD, telemetry, lineage, and governance.
- Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, client-facing technical consulting, solutions engineering, or product engineering.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements including SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering, data science, architecture, product, and design teams through complex delivery cycles.
- Preferred experience building and deploying AI agents or autonomous systems, using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or FastAPI, and working in forward deployed, field engineering, or technical account management roles.
- Relevant consulting or industry experience with significant management experience and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
