Responsibilities
- Architect and develop highly scalable, mission-critical back-end systems.
- Own significant portions of Agoda's system from vision to implementation.
- Facilitate collaboration on large projects to improve service quality.
- Provide feedback and nurture an inclusive engineering environment.
- Identify and implement optimization opportunities across the technology stack.
- Exhibit technical leadership and communicate complex trade-offs to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in engineering roles.
- Proven experience with production services impacting design and deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Scala, Java, or C#.
- Ability to research and make decisions on complex projects.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical details to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
