Responsibilities
- Contribute to the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
- Analyze applications and code to identify system enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
- Design, implement, install, support, test, and debug application programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend solutions and resolve issues.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
- Exercise independent judgment, assess risk, and escalate or report control issues in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
