Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of AWS production systems.
- Respond to incidents and contribute to root cause analysis and postmortems.
- Build and maintain automation for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and overall observability.
- Contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning, cost optimization, CI/CD support, and deployment safety improvements.
- Maintain runbooks, documentation, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Requires 1–3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
- Requires hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Requires familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Requires working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Requires scripting or programming experience in Python, Go, Bash, or another relevant language.
- Requires familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Requires familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Requires experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Exposure to SLO, SLI, and error budget frameworks is required.
