Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems running on AWS.
- Respond to incidents and contribute to root cause analysis and postmortems.
- Build and maintain automation for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
- Contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Write and maintain runbooks, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment safety and velocity.
Requirements
- Requires 1–3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
- Requires hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Requires familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Requires working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Requires scripting or programming experience with one or more languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Requires knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Requires familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Requires experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Requires exposure to SLO, SLI, and error budget frameworks.
