Base Salary
$180k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership for customer solutions.
- Drive technical discovery and solution design for competitive deals.
- Research and learn new technologies for implementation on Databricks.
- Consult on big data architectures and implement proof of concepts.
- Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to support customers.
- Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks open-source projects.
- Work with account executives to create account penetration strategies.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data engineering, data science, or technical architecture.
- Experience building distributed data systems.
- Proficient in programming and debugging Python and SQL.
- Experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in data engineering or data science technologies.
- Strong executive presence to influence C/VP-level stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
- Desired degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Databricks Certification is a plus.
