Responsibilities
- Program, test, maintain, and support batch systems to meet client requirements.
- Create analysis and test plans for simple to medium-complexity projects.
- Debug and resolve advanced programming errors, system defects, and failed jobs.
- Lead production job support and ensure failed jobs are managed and resolved promptly.
- Review analysis documentation and validate test execution results.
- Own batch delivery and interact with clients.
- Collaborate with global and offshore teams to support seamless information flow and delivery.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and SAS programming or JCL/DB2.
- Advanced debugging skills for system and programming errors.
- Strong understanding of batch processing, system analysis, DB2 relational databases, data models, data flows, common data stores, SAS functions and utilities, and JCL/mainframe concepts.
- Ability to translate client requirements and legislation into system specifications.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead client-facing batch delivery.
- B.Tech/B.E. in IT, CSE, or ECE, or BCA plus MCA.
- Prior Alight, Aon, or Wipro experience and leaves, health, or retirement domain experience are preferred.
