Responsibilities
- Build core backend systems for Mural's agent platform.
- Design scalable services and APIs for AI agents.
- Develop the agent memory layer for context management.
- Create infrastructure for monitoring and improving agent behavior.
- Translate product needs into backend architectures and implementation plans.
- Define the technical direction for agentic AI at Mural.
- Champion engineering excellence and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expertise in designing and operating reliable production systems.
- Experience with distributed systems for complex workflows.
- Familiarity with AI, LLM, or agentic systems.
- Strong focus on production quality and observability.
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation.
- Experience with full stack development or frontend collaboration.
