Responsibilities
- Design scalable Java backend services for high-volume transaction processing.
- Develop accessible Angular single-page applications and reusable modular components.
- Build API integrations between Java services and .NET components.
- Optimize Java and Angular application performance and resource usage.
- Apply clean code, object-oriented design, secure coding, and enterprise architectural practices.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with product owners, architects, and quality specialists.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and hybrid team ceremonies.
- Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot production issues using logs and metrics and implement durable fixes.
- Support cards and payments initiatives involving payment flows, authorization reliability, and regulatory expectations.
Requirements
- Several years of progressive engineering experience with strong hands-on Core Java expertise, including collections, multithreading, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Advanced Angular proficiency, including AngularJS and modern Angular versions, modular architecture, and state management.
- Practical .NET application development and integration experience.
- Familiarity with cards and payments concepts such as transaction lifecycles, authorization flows, and settlement processes is advantageous.
- Experience collaborating with onsite and remote stakeholders in hybrid delivery models.
- Understanding of secure coding, data protection, and compliance practices for financial-grade applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and production issue resolution skills.
- Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer, Microsoft Certified Azure Developer, or a recognized Angular or web development certification.
