Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, modify, test, debug, and maintain software programs and modules.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases and scenarios.
- Investigate system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend performance or availability improvements.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, analysts, and engineering staff on requirements, status, delivery, and software-hardware interfaces.
- Prepare accurate technical documentation, reports, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and project status updates.
- Respond to customer requests, track faults, collect feedback, and support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certifications to maintain current programming and software-development skills.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software design, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, and software development lifecycle activities.
- Ability to analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, work processes, and software feasibility.
- Ability to create and execute test cases, automate validation processes, and troubleshoot defects.
- Ability to document technical solutions, specifications, project activities, and implementation details clearly.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, and engineering staff.
- Strong customer communication, reporting, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages and participate in continuing education, training, and certifications.
