Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on end-to-end Java development within a large matrixed organization.
- Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and build data-platform services for revenue generation and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data, React, Redux, and HTML.
- Provide L3 production support, fix defects, and deliver enhancements.
- Develop and tune MSSQL databases and support application performance.
- Lead and drive teams and projects while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience as a Java developer.
- Strong Java 8 and core Java knowledge, including JVM memory and multithreading.
- Experience with Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data, React, Redux, and HTML.
- Experience with MSSQL/database development and performance tuning.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and full software lifecycle development.
- Experience using CI/CD for application building and deployment.
- Required investment banking or financial-industry experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and team skills.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for React application containerization is a plus.
