Responsibilities
- Build and maintain services and tooling for network lifecycle automation, including provisioning, changes, drift detection, and operational verification.
- Develop safe and transparent network-change workflows with staged rollouts, rollbacks, audit trails, and guardrails.
- Build observability systems and telemetry pipelines that scale across multiple sites and improve incident investigations.
- Integrate source-of-truth data, expose APIs, and develop reliable automation connecting network infrastructure with the cloud platform.
- Collaborate with network engineers and SREs to turn operational needs into product-quality tooling.
- Provide technical leadership through project ownership, architectural thinking, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent practical background.
- Strong coding skills and the ability to ship and operate reliable services.
- Proficiency in Go or willingness to switch to Go; Python is also welcome.
- Interest in infrastructure and/or networking.
- Ability to manage large-scale projects, contribute to architecture and system design, mentor colleagues, and participate in hiring and interviews.
