Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Manage Kubernetes deployments, monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure health and performance.
- Optimize Kafka message brokers and event-driven architecture performance.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure, deployment, application, and performance issues with engineering teams.
- Apply cloud security best practices and maintain infrastructure and deployment documentation.
- Evaluate cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps improvements and communicate technical guidance to business and engineering teams.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of hands-on DevOps Engineer experience focused on cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform services and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Knowledge of streaming data, distributed systems, and asynchronous brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
- Experience with GCP, GitHub Actions, Kafka components, and Kafka producer and consumer optimization.
- Proficiency in YAML and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Understanding of containerization, orchestration, cloud security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
