Responsibilities
- Design and implement application deployment strategies on AWS.
- Drive adoption of CI/CD practices and automate software delivery pipelines.
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions for cloud application availability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers to improve application scalability, reliability, and security.
- Provide operational support and troubleshoot cloud deployment and infrastructure issues.
- Evaluate and introduce tools and technologies to improve DevOps processes.
- Act as a liaison between engineering and business teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure, including EC2, S3, and VPC.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI pipelines.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with distributed computing systems and large-dataset processing.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of Linux systems, networking, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with time synchronization concepts and NTP or PTP protocols.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
