Base Salary
$90k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support customer activities through direct interaction with customer engineering teams.
- Manage a large case load by investigating and debugging issues to customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with QNX engineers and experts to isolate, reproduce, and resolve customer issues.
- Write code to reproduce issues and illustrate product usage.
- Continuously learn and support the full suite of QNX products.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and team effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or another related field.
- Strong C programming skills.
- Hands-on system programming experience in embedded systems, including areas such as board bring-up, drivers, networking, USB, filesystems, or kernels.
- Hands-on development experience with embedded operating systems such as QNX, Linux, Green Hills, or VxWorks.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, including the ability to identify and analyze technical problems.
- Ability to handle matters with diplomacy, tact, and confidentiality.
- Passion for learning new technologies.
- Previous customer-facing experience is an asset.
- Evidence of QNX experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Eclipse-based IDEs, Visual Studio Code, IPC, Linux programming, GCC, and GDB is advantageous.
Benefits
- 40 scheduled hours per week.
- Base salary range of $90,000.00 to $126,000.00.
