Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve software solutions supporting business, platform, and technology capabilities.
- Deliver scalable, maintainable, optimized, and high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to support reliable and readable code.
- Guide technical direction, lead complex assignments, and coach less experienced specialists.
- Advise functional leadership and senior management on cross-functional impacts and alignment.
- Manage risks and strengthen controls related to the team’s work.
- Develop innovative solutions through complex analysis, research, and evaluation of alternatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in software development and delivery.
- Ability to guide technical direction and act as a subject matter expert within the discipline.
- Ability to lead collaborative, multi-year assignments and guide team members through structured work.
- Ability to advise senior stakeholders and influence outcomes through relationship-building and negotiation.
- Ability to assess and mitigate risks and support control and governance objectives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and interpretive-thinking skills.
- Ability to coach and train less experienced specialists.
