Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
- Develop and modernize production software using modern programming languages for United States Government requirements.
- Implement modular, scalable, reliable, precise, accurate, and high-performance software systems, applications, and architectures.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers on electronic data processing systems.
- Analyze user needs, system capabilities, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls to resolve issues.
- Apply and maintain software engineering best practices and standards.
- Work with software leads and architects to understand program intent, system capabilities, and output requirements.
- Support customers on site through installations, upgrades, and continuous maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year.
- Active Secret security clearance enrolled in Continuous Evaluation and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Ability to meet customer-specific security screening requirements within the required timeframe.
- Ability to analyze system requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
- Experience designing and coding new software, modifying existing software, debugging software, and correcting defects.
- Experience with open software or system architecture solutions.
- Experience with Git-based or other software configuration management tools.
- Ability to work on site in Bellevue, Nebraska.
- Preferred qualifications include Linux application development with Java, Rust, Ada, and shell scripting; SELinux; Linux cybersecurity controls; Docker; Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines; Scrum; DevSecOps; cross-domain systems; and customer installation, maintenance, and support.
