Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation.
- Own and evolve AWS environments for high availability and security.
- Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution.
- Build and maintain Node.js-based tools for automation and deployment.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
- Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades while minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Drive initiatives to improve performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams.
- Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
- Must be located in the Oakland, CA / greater Bay Area.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on production experience writing Node.js code.
- Expert-level AWS experience, including EC2, Lambda, and S3.
- Extensive CloudFormation experience, including managing stacks.
- Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience debugging systems in production environments.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong understanding of AWS security best practices.
- Strong Linux systems experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
