Responsibilities
- Design, construct, operate, and own critical components of high-traffic backend services.
- Participate in specifications, architecture, development, unit testing, integration automation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with architects, product management, and engineering teams on technical vision and roadmaps.
- Create technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to communicate engineering ideas.
- Apply innovation and emerging technologies, including GenAI, to solve engineering and coding problems.
- Communicate technology knowledge and help influence product direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in software development and automation.
- Proficiency in Java and the ability to write clean, performant, maintainable object-oriented code.
- Strong foundations in computer science, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of software development life cycle, microservice design, and CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, Docker, Jenkins, Splunk, and Git.
- Knowledge of GenAI tools and technology is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new programming paradigms, languages, tools, and problem areas.
