Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Translate functional and business requirements into technical solutions and independently deliver complex enhancements.
- Lead technical discussions, provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, and conduct code reviews.
- Design and implement REST/SOAP API integrations and support data migration, data quality, and large data volume activities.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce configuration, custom code, integration, data, and production issues.
- Participate in solution design, impact analysis, estimation, testing, deployment, release management, and post-production support.
- Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams on unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Maintain technical documentation and identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and technical improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree plus 6 years of professional Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce, Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce Flows.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, data models, governor limits, bulkification, asynchronous processing, deployment, and platform best practices.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, enterprise integrations, data migration, Data Loader, or comparable Salesforce data-management tools.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gearset, or Copado.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments, production support, critical incident resolution, technical documentation, code review, and developer mentoring.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent ownership skills.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required or preferred; Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or other advanced Salesforce certifications are a plus.
- Oracle CPQ, MuleSoft, large-scale Salesforce implementations, complex multi-system environments, and Salesforce security, authentication, SSO, and OAuth experience are advantageous.
