Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions from design documentation and functional specifications.
- Document, unit-test, integrate, deploy, and maintain implemented software components.
- Architect solutions and build CI/CD pipelines for applications.
- Develop scalable and robust software using full-stack technologies and cloud services.
- Provide work estimates and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies for interested parties.
- Apply debugging, problem-solving, automation, object-oriented programming, and design-pattern skills.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
- Excellent coding and development experience with Java, Node.js, React.js, AWS services, Lambda, and APIs.
- Experience developing scalable and robust software using software development methodologies.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
- Knowledge of architecture design, microservices architecture, containers including Docker and Kubernetes, and messaging queues.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: certification in one or more hyperscalers, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred: experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
