Lead Software Engineer - Golang

- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and delivers secure, scalable, production-quality software solutions.
- Reviews and debugs code written by other engineers and supports high-quality engineering practices.
- Leads adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and automation practices.
- Establishes validation standards for AI-generated outputs, including correctness, performance, security, peer review, and automated testing.
- Identifies opportunities to automate recurring remediation and improve application and system operational stability.
- Leads evaluations of external vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture, technical credentials, and system applicability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5 or more years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Golang.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development practices and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on safe and compliant AI-assisted engineering adoption.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and strong understanding of application resiliency and security practices.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems and practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred: strong experience with Envoy and other web ingress technologies.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with OIDC and OAuth2, plus knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts.
