
Staff Engineer - Consumer Card Partnerships

Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize a bold technical vision for the Consumer Card Partnerships domain.
- Decompose complex technical problems into practical, operational solutions.
- Ensure the quality of technical designs and implementations.
- Advise as an authoritative expert on performance, scalability, operability, and other non-functional system characteristics.
- Lead through technical contribution and provide thought leadership across engineering teams.
- Mentor and coach engineers and product community members while helping develop technical talent.
- Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other materials to share technical knowledge.
- Manage multiple projects and balance time to maximize organizational impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 7 years of experience in general software engineering and solution architecture.
- At least 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns.
- Preferred: 10+ years of professional coding experience in commonly used languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift.
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including conception, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with public or private cloud technologies.
- Preferred: experience driving AI-enabled engineering at scale, including architecting workflows, shaping adoption strategies, and improving engineering productivity.
