Responsibilities
- Design and build robust APIs integrating internal and third-party services to automate core business processes.
- Architect and evolve performant, scalable backend systems and data models.
- Design well-structured schemas across multiple relational and NoSQL data sources.
- Contribute to frontend applications and customer experiences when needed.
- Own features from inception through delivery and maintain high-quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate across disciplines, share knowledge, support teammates, and provide mentorship.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Proven experience designing and building APIs, ideally with GraphQL.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
- A track record of building robust, scalable, and maintainable systems.
- Proven experience collaborating within teams and across disciplines.
- Experience using AI technology and tooling to augment development.
- Experience taking ownership of features from inception through delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include strong React, TypeScript, and Next.js experience, event-driven systems experience, and production experience with AI technology and tooling.
