Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design for complex enterprise, cloud, hybrid, systems integration, modernization, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Personally develop end-to-end solution architectures, reference architectures, design patterns, technical approaches, proposal technical volumes, white papers, and program baselines.
- Serve as chief architect for priority proposal efforts and support capture, technical win strategies, customer briefings, and executive briefings.
- Partner with growth and operations teams to ensure solutions are buildable, scalable, secure, and aligned with customer needs.
- Build, lead, and mentor solution architects and senior technologists through design reviews, paired architecture sessions, and active delivery participation.
- Set expectations for architectural quality, documentation, accountability, ownership, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Lead solution architecture in a federal government contracting environment, including program execution, contract startup, and operational sustainment.
- Apply AI/ML and advanced analytics to improve solution design, delivery, mission outcomes, proposal development, and solution design workflows.
- Serve as the trusted technical voice for customers, business development, and program leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, solution engineering, or systems design roles.
- Proven success leading solution development for large-scale Federal/Defense pursuits.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, data engineering, and enterprise IT.
- Experience architecting solutions aligned with ITIL, DoD RMF, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, and Agile delivery.
- Expertise developing proposal technical volumes and supporting business development.
- Progressive technical leadership across engineering, digital transformation, data analytics, and cybersecurity teams.
- Experience integrating AI-powered tools into workflows to improve proposal development and solution design efficiency and accuracy.
- Knowledge of enterprise and security architecture best practices, FAR-based contracts, SLAs, and compliance-driven delivery constraints.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented approach.
