Base Salary
$93k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Independently design and code cost-effective application and program solutions, and lead other developers when needed.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and contribute to application design and enhancements.
- Develop and support Java Spring Boot microservices and Java RESTful services.
- Perform system maintenance, research, problem resolution, and on-call support for existing applications.
- Oversee or perform unit, functional integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Support production implementation and integration of purchased solutions.
- Manage code assets and promote reuse across the organization.
- Lead or serve as a subject matter expert for application projects and service requests.
- Mentor Java developers and collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams.
Requirements
- At least five years of overall application program development experience.
- At least five years of hands-on Java development experience.
- At least five years of experience with integration concepts and practices.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Java RESTful services.
- Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma plus four years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience or knowledge with MongoDB and GCP.
- Preferred knowledge of BPM, Extreme Scale/WXS, Mqueue, Splunk, cloud containerization, and DevOps.
- Experience with programming languages, development tools, databases, systems development life cycle practices, and application development support software packages.
