Responsibilities
- Develop valuation features and complex financial calculation logic for yields, cash flows, and investment metrics.
- Contribute to the core calculation engine supporting property valuations using industry-standard methodologies.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and application refactoring.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and optimize software performance for large property portfolios.
- Apply Clean Architecture and design patterns including Strategy, Factory, and Context.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, valuation experts, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor teammates and support deployment troubleshooting and other team needs.
Requirements
- Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency developing object-oriented software applications with .NET C# and .NET 8 or later.
- Hands-on production experience with Clean Architecture or similar architectural patterns.
- Experience with Strategy, Factory, and Context design patterns.
- Proven experience building and maintaining REST APIs with ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with MSTest or xUnit and Moq for unit testing.
- Experience with Azure Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Application Insights.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.
- Comfort with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code quality tools, JSON serialization, and API development.
- Knowledge or experience with parallel or concurrent programming in .NET.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate valuation concepts or financial modeling is valuable.
- Experience with Dapper or a similar library, AI-powered development tools, PropTech, real estate investment software, or startup environments is valuable.
- Strong collaboration, communication, ownership, numerical precision, and problem-solving skills.
