Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Alpaca's algo trading platform.
- Write high-quality code and make critical architectural decisions.
- Optimize for low latency and high throughput performance.
- Design and implement robust distributed systems and databases.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with a preference for lead roles.
- Proficiency in low and high-level programming languages such as C/C++, Go, Rust, Java, Scala, and Python.
- Experience with low latency and high throughput optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of messaging queues and message brokers.
- Familiarity with algorithms, distributed systems, and concurrency control.
