Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and scalable automation frameworks.
- Lead automated test execution, interpret results, and identify, document, and manage software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Build automation strategies and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor lower-level test and quality automation engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Establish automation best practices, document training materials, and provide training on automation tools and frameworks.
- Perform manual testing when needed and participate in innovation efforts such as AI.
Requirements
- Require 4–7 years of overall testing experience, including 2–4 years of automation testing or equivalent automation training.
- Strong proficiency in core Java programming concepts.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with API automation tools, including Karate.
- Experience with UI automation tools, including Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience using Jenkins and building CI/CD pipelines.
- Very strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience mentoring test automation teams is preferred.
