Responsibilities
- Identify cost and performance optimization opportunities and partner with business teams to implement solutions.
- Research heterogeneous language communication using primarily Go and Rust, including hardware acceleration and Go runtime optimization.
- Develop platform capabilities for service cost analysis, performance diagnosis, and semi-automated optimization.
- Collaborate on next-generation microservices architecture and drive cross-team technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one high-performance programming language such as Go, Rust, or C++.
- Experience with low-level performance optimization, including CPU cache optimization, zero-copy techniques, or lock contention handling.
- Familiarity with performance profiling tools and Linux kernel tuning.
- Strong systematic problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: extensive experience optimizing RPC frameworks, network libraries, and Go services.
- Preferred: experience optimizing systems handling traffic at the million-QPS level.
- Preferred: excellent communication skills and ability to drive cross-team technical initiatives.
