Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize machine learning deployment tools and automation systems.
- Design and implement standards and best practices for organizational data and machine learning pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineers and machine learning researchers to automate code analysis, builds, integration, and deployment of ML applications.
- Support infrastructure design decisions and monitoring solutions for applications and projects.
- Build scalable and resilient cloud and on-premise systems for hosting machine learning systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing distributed systems and machine learning systems.
- Experience building and maintaining DevOps pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with MLOps orchestration tools such as Airflow, KubeFlow, Dagster, Flyte, or MetaFlow.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning application deployment processes.
- Experience building tools and applications that automate infrastructure and DevOps tasks.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of the UNIX operating system.
- Experience implementing monitoring solutions to identify system bottlenecks and production issues.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices covering testing, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and the full software development life cycle.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying hybrid on-premise and cloud environments using platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
