Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the AI and Data Platform architecture strategy, roadmap, standards, and future-state vision.
- Lead enterprise solution blueprints across data platforms, AI pipelines, BI, analytics, and governance.
- Design and evolve lakehouse architectures, data engineering pipelines, BI/reporting ecosystems, and scalable AI/ML systems.
- Lead adoption of event-driven, streaming, and integration architectures and evaluate emerging technologies and build-versus-buy decisions.
- Enforce AI, data, architecture, security, and compliance governance standards and lead architecture reviews through project lifecycle gates.
- Translate business and technology requirements into architecture solutions and align data engineering, data science, BI, and platform teams.
- Present architectural strategies to senior and executive stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor architecture team members, including direct reports where applicable, and improve engineering practices, performance, and solution quality.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, data platforms, or AI/ML solutions.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex solutions across AI and data ecosystems.
- Experience with agentic AI, including tool usage, agentic orchestration frameworks, LLMs, testing and evaluation, and AgentOps.
- Experience with GenAI, including LLMs, monitoring, testing and evaluation, LLMOps, observability, and RAG.
- Knowledge of data platforms and lakehouse architectures, including ADLS Gen2, Databricks, Synapse, ETL/ELT, and Unity Catalog.
- Knowledge of MLOps technologies, machine learning, and NLP.
- Experience with Azure preferred, with AWS or GCP knowledge beneficial.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, and containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong strategic thinking, enterprise architecture leadership, communication, storytelling, executive engagement, collaboration, and value-delivery skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD considered an asset.
